Hi Don,

A: Modifying Windows Registry First of all make the required changes in Registry Editor. For example, you want to create a registry script to disable drive autorun functionality in Windows as mentioned here. So open Registry Editor by pressing WIN+R keys together to launch RUN dialog box and they type regedit in RUN box and press Enter. The application has a similar UI to the standard registry editor (regedit) available on the Windows platform. The actual code to read the registry entry and display the values is performed in reditview.cpp. It is standard Win32 registry API and the code is mostly self explanatory. Windows CE will prompt you for the device driver name. Enter ctiwhce.dll. The WhiteHEAT driver will be installed automatically. NOTE: If your device does not prompt you to enter a driver name (maybe due to lack of a display in your device), you can use the remote registry editor to add the entry below.

May I suggest starting another thread on the issue with respect to Remote
Registry Editor and your Mini-ITX problems. Experts in these areas may not
be looking at this thread given it is about Sharing Folders.

By visual studio 2005-visual studio remote tools-Remote Registry Editor by this u can capture the registry setting for windows CE 5.0 by this u can made backup and restore mr-mac. As mobile registry editor (MRE) is not available any more from the author’s site directly and MRE has some bugs (ie after deleting a key it will hang), I looked around and found the freeware ceRegedit (A download is available here ceRegedit Homepage). It also uses active sync and works remotely on the device’s registry. can't connect with the remote registry editor using the tcpip transport. I have decided to abandon Windows CE 5.0 development and move on to 6.0.
